A house of labels, built on exclusivity
The House of Rare is a premium fashion collective behind contemporary labels including Rare Rabbit and Rareism, redefining Indian fashion with international design sensibilities and refined craftsmanship. Founded in 2015 by Manish Poddar and Akshika Poddar, it is rooted in bold aesthetics, exclusivity and modern expression.
It appeals to a discerning audience of creative professionals, celebrities and royalty, and has established itself as one of India's most aspirational fashion houses with a fast-growing digital and retail presence.
Mobile web could not carry the brand
As a luxury house, The House of Rare's experience needed to feel immersive, premium and consistent across every label and touchpoint. Product-market fit was strong, but mobile web presented clear limitations.
A fully branded, non-templatised app
The House of Rare partnered with Appmaker to replicate its luxury design language in an app built to outperform mobile web.
