Wordfence is an endpoint firewall and malware scanner that was built from the ground up to protect WordPress. As part of its security function, it blocks other plugins from being installed.
You need to manually whitelist the required plugin inside the Wordfence, if you are trying to create your eCommerce/WordPress app with Appmaker plugin and your favorite security plugin is blocking you from doing that.
Here is the step by step procedure for whitelisting Appmaker plugin on Wordfence Security:
Step 1: Go to WordPress Dashboard and click on Wordfence
Step 2: Select Firewall and click on All Firewall options
Step 3: Go to Whitelisted URLs section and provide the following info:
- URL: /
- Param Type: Query String
- Param Name: appmaker-wc
Step 4: Click ADD. The following screen appears
Step 5: Click on Save changes to complete the process
You have successfully whitelisted Appmaker plugin and you are all set to create an app.
