Using push notification, you can send messages to your users even when they are not using your application.For example, when you launch a new product or give a discount to products you can inform your customers with push notification and it will appear on notification bar on iOS and Android. This will increase the retention and engagement of users with the app.
Go to https://firebase.google.com/ and create an account in Firebase
Click ‘Go to console’ then select Create New Project
Give project name and create project
Select ‘Add Firebase to your Android app’
Enter your package name which was given during building app in appmaker.xyz(check API credentials in LHS) or xyz.coffye.<your domain with out www and .com> ( Eg. If your domain is http://www.example-domain.com enter xyz.coffye.exampledomain ) and your app name )
Then a .json file will be automatically downloaded to your system
This file has to be uploaded here in appmaker.xyz/woocommerce/create ( or update if you already created app ) ADD-ONS page
Now click add another app and select iOS
Enter your package name which was given during building app in appmaker.xyz or xyz.coffye.<your domain with out www and .com> ( Eg. If your domain is http://www.example-domain.com enter xyz.coffye.exampledomain ) as ios bundle id and your app name.
App store id is not necessary
a .plist file will be automatically downloaded now.
Now you can see two apps in Firebase
Click on the settings>project settings>cloud messaging
Copy the server key to appmaker add-on page
Now you can enable push notification and Google analytics
